Solid Mahogany Pembroke Table

Made by Henkel-Harris in Winchester, Virginia, this handsome Pembroke table showcases the warm color and expressive grain of solid genuine mahogany. Its slender tapered legs, finely fitted dovetailed drawer, graceful brass hardware, and balanced traditional proportions reflect the quality for which this respected American maker is known.

Two hinged leaves make the table wonderfully versatile: keep them lowered for a compact end table or nightstand, or raise them to create a larger surface for serving, entertaining, or a reading corner. It is an especially appealing choice for anyone who wants genuine craftsmanship in a piece that remains practical for modern rooms.

The table has been carefully renewed with four fresh protective topcoats that deepen the mahogany’s natural beauty. The hardware was removed and cleaned, and the drawer was thoroughly cleaned and topcoated inside and out. Minor age-appropriate marks remain, preserving the honest character of this vintage piece.
